HOUSTON – (Realty News Report) – Gulf South Pipeline signed a long-term lease extension of its 98,616-SF headquarters office at Greenway Plaza, which is located in Houston’s Inner Loop near Buffalo Speedway.

Starting your own business isn’t always easy. But a popular crowdfunding platform launched here in Houston is helping startups get off the ground.

A new pop-up restaurant has launched at “The Hub,” Greenway Plaza’s underground food court and amenity area. Tlahuac, pronounced “kla-wok,” which means “a place of the gods” in ancient Nahuatl Aztec, according to a release on Monday, is now open for business.

Tlahuac is the creation of former Xochi and Underbelly pastry chef Stephanie Velasquez and chef  Nicolas Vera.

Meanwhile, look for the opening of Tlahuac (pronounced kla-wok) on Monday at the NextSeed Space at Greenway Plaza.

Online investment platform NextSeed has launched a brick-and-mortar location in Greenway Plaza’s food court to host new restaurant concepts on a short-term basis. The first tenant is The Waffle Bus, a Houston-based food truck that will operate in the space through March.

The structure, which will adjoin Phoenix Tower’s original eight-story garage, will span eight floors and 247,000 square feet.

An eight-level parking garage with 600 spaces will be built adjacent to the 34-story Phoenix Tower in Greenway Plaza near the Southwest Freeway at Buffalo Speedway.
